Eye Movement Desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) EMDR does not rely on talk therapy or medications but uses a client's own rapid, rhythmic eye movements. Primarily used to help with symptoms associated with post traumatic stress disorder. However, EMDR has been found to effectively treat other mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, phobias and panic disorder, chronic pain and grief.
